This purlin now offers Architects and Engineers for the first time the opportunity to specify a purlin to complement the white liner sheets and at the same time increasing its performance to resist the effects of atmospheric corrosion.
The PREPAINTED PROPURLIN has been computer designed to ensure the ultimate section for your requirements. All loadings are contained in our specifiers manual.
The PREPAINTED PROPURLIN range of Purlins and sheeting rails have been designed in accordance with the requirements of BS 5950: Part 5: 1987.
The new Polyester Coated PREPAINTED PROPURLIN range of purlins and sheeting rails are manufactured in a specially coated galvanised steel of high quality particularly adapted for structural components. |
| This state of the art steel material consists of: |
| 1 & 2. Basic Substrate: a galvanised crack-resistant steel with a coating weight of 275g/m2, offering flexibility, corrosion resistance and durability. |

| 3. A 15micron thick flexible primer specially designed to resist corrosion, applied on both sides. |
| 4. A 20micron Thick Flexible and corrosion resistant Chalk White Polyester Resin Finish applied on each side. |
