Physical Properties
The calculation of the physical properties of the steel facing sheets have been based on an effective width concept as used in BS 5950: 1987 “Code of practice for design of cold formed sections”. Reference has also been made to the recommendations of the European Convention for Constructional Steelwork ECCS-TC7 “The design of Profiled sheeting” and also the well established procedures of the Metal Roof Deck Association.
